Dr. Wayland Henderson
Dr. Wayland Henderson brings more than 24 years of ministry and leadership experience. He has developed leaders in pastoral, apostolic, prophetic, and marketplace settings across the nation and around the globe.
He holds a Doctor of Ministry (DMin) in Semiotics, Church & Culture from Portland Seminary at George Fox University, along with several master's degrees in business leadership development and ministry. He is an international licensed chaplain and previously taught entrepreneurship and marketing. Dr. Henderson pairs a shepherd's heart with practical business insight, helping leaders build organizations where faith, excellence, and service work together.

Frequently asked questions
Is this counseling or therapy?
No. Coaching and pastoral support are not psychotherapy, clinical counseling, or medical care. If clinical needs come up, I'll gladly help you find a licensed professional, and coaching can continue alongside therapy when that's appropriate.
Is MJM faith-based?
Yes. MJM is built on the gospel of the Kingdom and a cross-shaped model of service. We welcome anyone who wants to explore a kingdom approach to work and leadership, and we always respect each client’s pace and conscience.
Is what I share confidential?
Yes, within the limits of the law. The exceptions are imminent risk of harm to yourself or others, and suspected abuse of a child or vulnerable adult. If your company pays for coaching, we agree in advance on what is shared with them, which is usually attendance and general themes, never session content without your consent.
Can my church or employer pay?
Yes. Sponsored coaching and organizational invoices are available. We'll put a simple three-way agreement in writing.
What is your cancellation policy?
Sessions can be rescheduled with 24 hours' notice. Sessions missed without notice are not refunded. Either of us may end the coaching agreement with written notice.
Are sessions virtual?
Most sessions are held by secure video call. In-person intensives and workshops can be arranged.
